This is kinda unnerving
So I got my copy of Persona 4 for Christmas. Told myself I need to beat TotA first and then I can play. Heard Anita had issues with her copy, so I told her to bring hers over.

We pop hers in. Screen goes black.. doesn't even GIVE ME the "Playstation 2" logo.. and goes back to the menu. No error report, no red screen, no "disc read error", no nothin. So I decide to put my copy in. Boots up, asks about memory cards. Watch the opening. Start the game even, we got all the way up to where you can control the Main Character. So I decide "let's do a swap out on Ni's. It'll work out, I'm sure I'll get a copy that works". So I swap it.

Swapped copy does the same thing. Black screen, no boot-up, back to menu. So I was like "no problem. Just some bad luck.". So I swap it AGAIN. Knowing I have proof that Dior's PS2 can run a copy of Persona 4, I give it another go on the swap aaaannndddd same result. So now my store lacks copies of Persona 4 and I'm left with a non-working copy.

What irks me most is that there's the small chance this game won't be playable for a long time, and everyone's tellin me "Dude, play it. A least a little". >.< And I WANT TO NOW. I'm making headway in Tales of the Abyss, but I want a little diversion that doesn't have me switching consoles (or going handheld).

If anyone has an info as to why this MIGHT be happenin.. greatly appreciated. >.>; I tried googling a solution, even checking Atlus forums. And only the PS3 owners seem to be complaining.
